Mastering Public Speaking for the Online

This course is designed to introduce students to fundamental communication theories, principles and practices. Students will develop public speaking skills, interpersonal skills, and practical applications, with emphasis on utilizing those skills to match our world's current technology-based work force.

Scholars ages eleven (11) through eighteen (18) will work through 16 lessons with Master Learning Specialist NaConda, introducing them to the basic foundational tools & terminology used in public speaking. This class is divided into two age groups:

MIDDLE SCHOOL (ages 11-13); and

HIGH SCHOOL (ages 14-18).

Scholars will meet two times a week for 45 minute courses & practice Knowledge & Skills Reading/Comprehension of Literary Text. (TEKS 110.31b)

This $149 complete course will meet twice a week for a total of 16 45-minute lessons (over eight weeks). This course does require a small amount of outside class time that will be used to conduct research and review notes taken during class, also practicing speaking techniques learning in class. All class meetings will be recorded live and available to replay for 30 days after the course ends. Registration information is listed below.
