The art of learning formal debate can help a child learn many things about the world and ultimately about themselves. Debate is more that merely arguing! It can open so many doors encouraging positive outer expression and critical thinking. In this introductory mini-course, Master Learning Specialist NaConda will briefly go through the basics of formal debating for elementary though high school aged scholars. As she walks her scholars through this course, they will also be able formulate their own debate resolution and arguments! This $49 introductory mini-course will meet twice a week for a total of four 45-minute lessons, each requiring a small amount of outside class time for research. Although the first two lessons in this course are pre-recorded, the session you enroll in will begin and end within a specific two-week time frame that will be indicated when you register. All class meetings will be recorded and available to replay for a limited time.
