This course provides scholars with a general study of the techniques of formal debate at an interscholastic level. Scholars are involved in detailed and extensive analysis of debate theory and technique with application of skills in mock in-class (virtual) competition/debates. Master Teacher NaConda will help guide & develop novice debaters because it is an inherent part of the work for this course. This course lasts one semester (Fall or Spring). High school aged scholars will meet for virtual live streamed lessons two times a week with Master Teacher NaConda. Research & other outside tasks will be assigned and must be completed in order to successfully finish this course. Scholars will receive a grade and certificate of completion upon concluding this course.
